TestimonialsJagermeister My name is Jagermeister (Jager). Since the day I took my first breath until some weeks ago, (when the good people raided the concentration camp I once lived) , my life was like a rainbow without color. Bright colors of happiness, of joy, fulfillment, and adventure had faded, never to glow again. Those are my memories of the Homestead Puppy Mill I grew up in. Then surprisingly, the colors began to appear, brighter than ever. A couple, ( my wonderful, loving and crazy daddies,) Hugo and Jeff Meister, took a liking to me and decided to add some extra love to their lives by taking care of me. At first I thought that I was dreaming - I did not know what had made my rainbow shine so bright. But, my health deteriorated, my lungs were hurting, fever took me by storm and my fragile body, filled with parasites, worms and ticks. I then was taken to see Dr. Glass of Family Pet Medical Center in search of medical attention. I was amazed at how bold the colors turned after the blood transfusion she gave me, thanks to Sun States: Blood Banks for Animals, where canine's blood is always appreciated and needed. Yeah, I feel great; I eat home cooked meals everyday; I'm almost potty trained; I sit, and also give kisses. I feel their touch, their love, their care. I realized they are my rainbow of colors. And if some day my colors begin to fade, please remember to paint them brighter again for I no longer want my life to be A Rainbow Without Color... Jagermeister was a 5 month old dog rescued from a puppy mill and adopted from Tri-County Humane Society.

Angel
Unfortunately, my dog, Angel, was Ehrlichia Platys positive and not
eligible to donate. I've since had to surrender her to the Humane Society due
to the Homeowners Association (jerks). But prior to surrendering her, I had
her treated for the Ehrlichia, with very good results. Had it not
been for the blood bank, I would never have known she was infected. I
notified Animal Control, where I had adopted her from about the infection she
had. From what I've heard (from a reliable source) that she was adopted 2
days after I surrendered her.
Best wishes for a successful year,
Sue
